Introduction

Our department was established in 1990 and in charged by Dr. Jen-Chin Wu in Jul, 2005. The services we provided included clinics, cosmetics, ward consultations, laboratory examinations, and therapeutics. In addition to regular out –patient department, we made appointment with the patients having more complicated disease for further survey and treatment. The staff included one doctor and assistance.

Services For Diseases

  1. Allergic disease: atopic dermatitis, eczema, hand eczema, urticaria, skin-itchy, etc.
  2. Infectious disease: tinea versicolor, tinea unguium, tinea pedis, scabies, folliculitis, impetigo, cellulites , erysipelas, verruca, chicken pox, etc.
  3. Others: psaoriasis, pemphigus, alopecia, seborrheic keratosis, lentigines, acne, diaper dermatitis, herpes zoster, pediatric and hereditary skin disease.

Treatment

Besides to regular treatment modalities, we also have liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, UV phototherapy, electrodessication, Nd-Yag laser, TCA chemical cauterization, KOH examination, biopsy and immunofluorescence examination.

The progress of dermatology is very fast. For getting the latest information, technique, and elevation of competition, our doctor goes to medical center for further training.
