The Section of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is dedicated to provide medical service for diseases of the ear, nose, throat, and tumor of head and neck. We continue to update techniques and equipment to provide center-level care. Through a continuous training program in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Taipei Veterans General Hospital and cooperation with National Cheng-Kung University Hospital, the Section has achieved excellent performance in early detection of head and neck cancer and referral for adequate cancer treatment. Because we serve predominantly elderly patients, we have accumulated a wealth of experience in the management of geriatric problems in ear, nose and throat. Geriatric otolaryngology is an area of concentrated research . Well-equipped endoscopy facility makes correct diagnosis of chronic rhinosinusitis and voice disorders easy and possible. We make continue progressand provide meticulous and cost-effective professional care to our patients.
